Appalachian Campsites is conveniently located just off Route I-78, 23 miles northwest of Reading, 35 miles west of Allentown, and 45 miles east of Harrisburg.

From places East...
- Take Exit 23 off I-78 at Shartlesville.
- Turn right off the ramp, then immediately left onto the service road to the campground.
- Follow signs to campground entrance.

From places West...
- Take Exit 23 off I-78 at Shartlesville
- Turn left off the ramp, cross over the highway, then immediately turn left onto the service road to the campground.
- Follow signs to campground entrance.
